Why do you require 1 – 2 introductory, private sessions?

Pilates is a movement method that works best when the body is in good alignment.  Every person’s alignment and ability varies, and in order for me to assess what approach would work best for your body, I need 1 to 2 sessions to see how you move.  If you are new to pilates, these sessions will introduce you to what alignment I am looking for as you move.  If you have been doing pilates for a while, the intro sessions will introduce you to my form of pilates (each instructor will bring their own nuance to the method).
