What is Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT)?
Neurokinetic Therapy approaches the body’s movement patterns from a neurological standpoint. The motor control center initiates our movements utilizing a variety of muscles in any given pattern. At times, these movement patterns the brain uses might be older, inefficient patterns that it remembers from injuries, trauma, scars, etc. NeuroKinetic Therapy helps me discover those inefficient patterns and get the motor control center to revert to its original, efficient pattern. It is rather like a google maps construction reroute that never reverts back to the quickest A to B route.
